This website (https://www.ferrybankmotors.com/) is operated by Opel Automobile GmbH (Russelsheim am Main, Germany) and by the Republic of Ireland a company registered under the Laws of by the Republic of Ireland and having its registered office at by Fern Road, Sandyford Business Estate, Dublin 18, Republic of Ireland on behalf of the group of related companies distributing Opel branded vehicles in Europe (“OPEL”).

Please read these terms carefully before using this Site. Using this Site indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with Opel. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this Site.



The information contained herein is designed to be as comprehensive and factual as possible. We reserve the right, however, to make changes at any time, without notice, in prices, colours, materials, equipment, specifications, models and availability

1. Intellectual Property

All materials within the Site are the intellectual property of Opel. Materials may not be copied or reproduced, save to the extent necessary to view the same online. However, you may print complete pages of the Site to hard copy for your own personal use on the following basis:
(a) no documents or related graphics on the Site are modified in any way;
(b) no graphics on the Site are used separately from the corresponding text; and
(c) Opel’s copyright and trademark or other notices appear in all copies.


2. Personal data & hyperlinks

Opel respects the confidentiality of your personal data and the privacy of each person visiting this Site. The Site contains hyperlinks to other websites that are run by third parties. The content of such third party websites is the sole responsibility of the respective website owner. Opel does not assume any responsibility for compliance with data privacy laws of such third party websites and does not assume any responsibility for their content. 3. Service Access

While Opel endeavours to ensure that the Site is normally available 24 hours a day, Opel shall not be liable if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the Site may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond Opel’s control.


4. Visitor material and conduct

Other than personally identifiable information, any material you transmit or post to the Site shall be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. Opel shall have no obligations with respect to such material. Opel and its designees shall be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use such material and data, images, sounds, text and other things embodied therein for any and all purposes.

You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from the Site any material:
(a) that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience; or
(b) for which you have not obtained all necessary licenses and/or approvals; or
(c) which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in any country in the world; or
(d) which is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data).


You may not misuse the Site in any way including, without limitation, by hacking. Opel reserves the right to delete and / or modify such prohibited content without notice.

Opel shall fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court ordering requesting or directing Opel to disclose the identity or locate anyone posting any material in breach of this paragraph 4.


5. Accuracy of Information

The information on this website is intended for customers of Opel. Availability, scope of services, offers, technology and equipment can vary per country. Due to the nature of changes implemented during annual updates etc., products shown and services described on this Site may differ from the latest specification.

OPEL will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that the contents of this Site are accurate and up to date. We reserve the right, however, to make changes at any time, without notice, in prices, materials, equipment, specifications, models and availability. Some of the equipment or services described or shown may only be available in certain countries or may be available only at extra cost. OPEL reserves the right to change product and service specifications at any time, and OPEL does not accept any liability for any claims or losses arising from a reliance upon the contents of the website.


No reliance should be placed upon any of the statements made within the site and the material on the site is provided "as is", without any conditions, warranties or other terms of any kind. Accordingly, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Opel provides you with the site on the basis that Opel excludes all representations, warranties and conditions or other terms (including, without limitation, any conditions implied by law) which, but for these terms, might have effect in relation to the site.

Due to the many variations in screens and browsers, actual product colour may appear different on different screens and browsers. Computer screens are not all calibrated equally and colour reproduction on the Internet is not precise. Since it is not possible to guarantee the actual colour will look the same on all computers, we do not guarantee that you see accurately the actual colour of your product. We do our very best to make sure that the production pictures display your ordered product as close to the exact actual colour as possible.


6. Liability

Opel and their officers, directors, employees or agents exclude all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to you or a third party (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, use of money, or loss or damages arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, and whether in tort (including without limitation) negligence, contract or otherwise) in connection with the Site in any way or in connection with the use, inability to use or the results of use of the Site, any websites linked to the Site or the material on such websites, including but not limited to loss or damage due to viruses that may infect your computer equipment, software, data or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing of the Site or your downloading of any material from the Site or any websites linked to the Site. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit Opel’s liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by Opel’s negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
(c) any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.


7. Responsibilities

Opel Automobile Ireland Ltd will provide the After Sales Webshop platform and infrastructure. The Opel Aftersales Webshop is an e-commerce platform for the sale of accessories online. Opel Automobile Ireland Ltd will provide the product images, specifications and descriptions. Opel Automobile Ireland is responsible for the internet presence and the operation of the Authorised Opel Retailer marketplace. The Authorised Opel Retailer is responsible for the Authorised Opel Retailer e-commerce shop, including pricing and taxes. The Authorised Opel Retailer is also responsible for the contract of sale with the customer and receiving payment direct to the Authorised Opel Retailer from the customer via Paypal.


8. Price of Goods

PRICES: The price listed on the Website (the 'Price') for Opel Automobile Ireland Ltd products (the 'Products') will be as stipulated at the time when the User places their order on the website. An Authorised Opel Retailer is entitled to make adjustments to the Price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the Price for the Products on the Website is wrong. The prices include 23% VAT.


DELIVERY CHARGES:  The purchase price does not include delivery charges.  The applicable delivery charges will be quoted separately as part of the order check-out process.


PAYMENT:  We only accept payment via PayPal.  Any card payment that we take from you will be directed through the PayPal payment portal and your card details will not be stored by us.


BUY NOW: When you click the “Buy Now” button, we are acknowledging the receipt of your order.  Your contract to purchase a product will not be complete until we send you a confirmation of your order.


9. Delivery

Orders are shipped within the delivery time as shown on the product page Monday - Friday 9.00 am – 5.30pm. The estimated dispatch date is estimation and can be dictated by events outside of our control. Your preferred Authorised Opel Retailer is totally dedicated to getting your order on its way to the User in the fastest time possible. Order dispatch may take a little longer in the below cases:
• If the User has ordered outside of our normal processing hours, or on a Bank Holiday
• If Opel Automobile Ireland Ltd. encounters a sudden stock shortage of one of your items. In this case the Authorised Opel Retailer needs to contact the User to help the User find their item.


10. Click and Collect

Collect your order from your preferred Authorised Opel Retailer for Free. Choose pick up as your delivery method when the User buys online. To check opening times for collection please check with your Authorised Opel Retailer.
When your order is ready for collection, the Authorised Opel Retailer will send the User an email informing the User their order is ready for collection.
Please bring some photo ID for verification purposes and your order number when collecting your order. If the User would like someone else to collect your order, please email the Authorised Opel Retailer the user placed their purchase with and provide the details of the person who will collect your order on your behalf. 11. Order Cancelation

As outlined in DIRECTIVE 2011/83/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, amending Council Directive 93/13/EEC and Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 85/577/EEC and Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council when the User buys online, the User is given a cooling-off period of 14 days after the User receives the product the User purchased online. This means the User has the right to cancel an order for any reason within this period once the item has not been used or fitted to a vehicle. The User must also return the item within 14 days from the day the User cancelled. If the User cancels the order because the User changes their mind, the User has to pay for the cost of returning it. The user is required to take good care of the goods and the User may be liable for the reduced value of goods caused by handling them beyond what’s necessary to be sure they work and are what the User ordered. To ensure a full refund, the item to be returned needs to be unused, and must have its original packaging undamaged and intact. When the Authorised Opel Retailer has received your returned item and if your return meets the requirements outlined above, the Authorised Opel Retailer will process a refund for the item(s) back to your original method of payment within 7 working days (excluding delivery cost). All the Users needs to do is contact the Authorised Opel Retailer the User purchased from, before  the User returns the goods and the Authorised Opel Retailer will guide the User through the process to make everything as quick and easy as possible. If the goods are delivered incomplete, have been damaged in transit or have been incorrectly supplied, the Authorised Opel Retailer reserves their right to replace the product. Please note that no claim can be entertained once the order has been signed for, any damage must be noted on the delivery docket and the product must be refused. Neither Opel Automobile Ireland Ltd nor the Authorised Opel Retailer are able to accept responsibility for damage to goods beyond these periods.


12. Claims

If a Product is damaged or faulty please contact the Authorised Opel Retailer from which your purchase was made and Opel Automobile Ireland Ltd will organise a replacement or refund. Any damage claim cannot be accepted once the order has been signed for, any damage must be specified on the delivery docket and the parcel must be refused. If the User buys a product online and it turns out to be faulty then your consumer rights are the same as if the User bought it in a shop. If the item is faulty, then the User does not have to pay for the cost of returning it. The Authorised Opel Retailer from which your purchase was made will cover any standard delivery costs the User paid, if any The Authorised Opel Retailer will not refund the User any additional delivery costs for example if the item was delivered by priority posting.


13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. The Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any and all matters arising from your use of the Site, myOpel and/or the Materials or otherwise relating to these Terms. We are legally required to notify you of the existence of the EU online dispute resolution platform which you can read about at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. However, we are not required to agree to use alternative dispute resolution procedures in the event of a dispute between us.
